I was expecting these to be larger than they were. An old set I had in my classroom was large enough a marble could fit in the tube. These tubes are half that size in diameter. They are still sturdy and fun to play with. There are also plenty of pieces for the price.The building set is very cool and makes you think creatively. However a few of the pieces do not necessarily connect which is a little frustrating, but all on all it’s a great product to encourage children to think outside the box.lo esperado, muy bueno para pasar con los chicosWhat is the purpose of this piece? It doesn’t fit on the wheels, it doesn’t connect big pieces. It’s the wrong size for everything. I agree that male/male and female/female connections would be helpful but my nephews 2 and 4 love them anyway.These are easy for young ones to assemble and take apart and they can use their imagination to make all kinds of things. This is my second set. The only drawback is they sometimes crack but we love them.This set would be great if it had both male and female connections were separate! With one on each side, connections are limited, and it's difficult to make a car as well as other items. I was disappointed by this. It needs a piece with male ends as well as a piece with both female ends that's not in a T!My grandson loves these. Well made and priced well.easy to assemble
