I have tried several different styles, sizes of these balance bikes on my nephews and nieces. I have to say, even one as small as this, is still a great little bike. I really love that they do not have pedals and are merely for helping achieve stronger little legs, better coordination and developing balance. This one in particular is made very well. The metal portions of the bike are extremely strong and should last for a very long time. The seat and handlebars are super soft and easy to grip. And, even as durably built as it is, it feels extremely light at the same time. The wheels roll smoothly and quietly over all surfaces that we have tried so far. I think this bike is best suited for toddlers from about 15 -16 months on up to 3 yrs or so. This would also make a great gift for any toddler who is too young to pedal a traditional style bicycle.Also to note, the bike is shipped in a plain brown box, and expertly packed so do not be alarmed at the small box when it arrives. It assembles in just a few minutes, and even as small as it is, it is a great size for the little beginners.
